That's the motto of our publishing house.
Our collaboration has lasted for more than 25 years. We can look back on a series of posters, flyers and brochures.
About five years ago we founded the publishing house Liberati and have since published fourteen books.
Stephan is responsible for the layout and cover, while Paul contributes ideas and texts.
Liberati means 'Free yourself!
Freedom is our greatest asset.
We don't concern ourselves with philosophical subtleties, but rather approach the issues pragmatically.

CEO Paul Esselborn
Paul Esselborn would have loved to learn to read before he could walk, but his grandmother favored prayer. In the process, his fingers were nearly broken while he was trying to assume the correct hand position.
His yearning for freedom culminated in reading the book "The Happy Lion," with which he identified and grew into an avid reader. Karl May, his favorite author, created the characters Winnetou and Old Shatterhand.
Having outgrown his childhood shoes, he studied outside the mainstream, with theory followed by practice. Paul opened the Amethyst bookstore, where he sold books on psychology, philosophy, naturopathy, occultism, and esotericism, and where he had qualified teachers give lectures and seminars.
He established contacts with publishers and publishing houses, books and their authors, interested parties and clients.
His love of reading continues to this day and leads to amazing ideas that he brings to the Liberati publishing house.
He has even written several books by now.

Merlin Esselborn
After graduating from high school, Merlin Esselborn traveled the world,
especially through South America.
He is currently studying in Düsseldorf. He has been associated with Liberati Publishing since its founding.
He completed internships in various departments.
In his editing role, for example, he researched the facts of the described contexts and checked age ratings.

Stephan Kalbfleisch
The founder Stephan Kalbfleisch (*1972) is a true half-Italian from Wuppertal.
After an apprenticeship as a printer, he studied the mysteries of layout and proofreading on his own.
Even with his mother, he used to sing the most beautiful popular songs. No wonder he toured the world as a jazz singer.
To help his friend, he founded the 'Liberati Publishing House' with him.
